A team, comprised of high school students all devoted to a career in healthcare, are determined to make a difference in the community, and next, the world!

Equal Health is a non-profit organization dedicated to healthcare access and advocacy for Low-income families and immigrants in Georgia. There are huge disparities in access to healthcare and basic medical necessities, particularly impacting low-income families and immigrants in our community. As a board comprised of passionate students reaching to pursue various health careers, we are committed to closing this gap. Through fundraising for local clinics, facilitating volunteer efforts, engaging with state representatives on critical policies, holding educational workshops, and more, we are determined to ensure everyone has the medical freedom and independence they deserve in our communities. We exist to serve.

Hi, My name is King Williams! I also go by Will. I'm a high school junior who plans to become a general surgeon! My grandfather was an immigrant from the Dominican who died from a preventable illness. I started this non-profit to make sure everyone has a chance at equal healthcare!
HI, my name is Huijin So! I'm a first generation immigrant and a high school junior with a passion for dentistry. I have a strong interest in the healthcare field and am actively involved in multiple science clubs. My goal is to pursue a degree in dentistry and eventually open my own dental practice. I'm determined to make a positive impact in my community!

I joined this non-profit because i saw people in my community struggling and I couldn't stand by and do nothing. Everyone deserves the right to medical care.

Growing up, I watched my mom, an immigrant, work incredibly hard to get the same opportunities as everyone else in the U.S. Her determination inspired me to ensure everyone gets equal healthcare. I'm passionate about providing mental health services to underserved communities because everyone deserves quality care, no matter their background.
Hi! My name is Katelyn McCreary. I am a junior in high school and love to play soccer. I have always been very passionate about healthcare, and I am working towards becoming a doctor in the future. I believe that all people should have equal opportunities to receive the healthcare they need, and hope I can make a difference through the nonprofit.

I want to make sure everyone has the same rights to healthcare not only in my future career but now. I'm determined to make a change in society and make the world a better place.
