We believe that equal health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being among all communities. Please help us spread awareness.
To ensure consistency, professionalism, and sustained impact across all Equal Health chapters, the following policies and structural guidelines must be adhered to:
1. Leadership & Organizational Structure:
Each chapter is required to appoint, at minimum, one President and one Vice President to oversee chapter operations.
Chapters must establish a comprehensive officer team, which may include positions such as Treasurer, Secretary, and Outreach Coordinator.
Regular chapter meetings must be conducted on a consistent basis (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.
2. Mission Alignment & Program Activities:
All chapter initiatives must reflect and uphold Equal Health’s mission: advancing healthcare equality, particularly for low-income families and immigrant communities.
Chapters are expected to organize at least one major event per academic semester, such as health drives, fundraising campaigns, or advocacy initiatives.
Chapters must actively contribute to community education by providing accessible resources (e.g., informational workshops, digital content, social media outreach).
3. Membership & Recruitment Standards:
Membership shall remain open to all individuals who align with Equal Health’s values and ethical standards.
Chapters must maintain a minimum of 5 to 10 active members to remain in good standing.
An inclusive, respectful, and discrimination-free environment is to be upheld at all times, fostering diversity and equity.
4. Financial Responsibility & Transparency:
Chapters bear responsibility for fundraising efforts that support local and organizational initiatives.
All financial transactions, fundraising outcomes, and expenditures must be transparently documented and reported to Equal Health Headquarters.
Under no circumstances may chapter leadership use chapter funds for personal benefit. Misuse of funds will result in immediate disciplinary action, including potential removal from leadership.
5. Branding, Communication, & Public Representation:
Chapters must exclusively use official branding materials (including logo, name, and visual assets) as provided by Equal Health HQ.
All public communications—including social media posts, press releases, and outreach materials—must consistently align with Equal Health’s mission, values, and ethical principles.
Chapters are required to maintain an active and professional digital presence, whether through social media platforms or a dedicated website.
6. Reporting Obligations & Accountability:
Chapters must submit monthly reports detailing activities, community impact, financial statements, and progress toward goals.
Leadership is responsible for ensuring ethical conduct within their chapter and proactively preventing any form of discrimination or unethical behavior.
Noncompliance with these guidelines may result in formal warnings, chapter suspension, or dissolution, subject to review by Equal Health HQ.
